Abstract

The project Environmental Objectives and Indicators in Spatial Planning and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs), is a three-year joint project being carried out by the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and a number of municipalities and county councils [1]. The main purpose of the project's theoretical frame of reference is to build a platform on which to develop a practical method for integrating environmental concerns into community planning.
