Abstract
The object is to enrich Multimedia learning materials. Research (Moorhouse) and Teaching Fellowship (Kokosalakis) work, provided an opportunity to reconsider valued material and approaches, changing influences of CAD usage on design and design processes and pedagogical demands. Redirection of content, structure and media in a prototype module (for Housing and Planning students) in CAD for residential layout design will be discussed. Learning material will be explored through recorded descriptive interviews with housing designers, providers, and occupants and through CAD. Learning of the potential and application of CAD should sit firmly in a rich, discursive, design context. It should act as a co-ordinating vehicle to consider design
