Abstract
An iterative boundary integral numerical method for solving two dimensional thermoelastic contact problems with thermal resistance at the interface (imperfect contact) is developed. The considered boundary conditions include radiation and natural or forced convection at the free zones of both solids and convection processes in the separation regions between them (interstitial zones). 1 Introduction Sometimes, the thermal deformations that occur in any contact structure could modify the size of the common interfaces corresponding to the system of external forces.
