Abstract
Some problems of bridge contact analysis Using MARC Z.M. Bzymekl & J. The bridge is designed for pedestrian traffic and a small van such as an ambulance. It is assumed that the structure of the bridge would be made of reinforced concrete. The dimensions are assumed to be similar to the Val Tschiel bridge. It is also assumed that the van is in contact with the bridge all the time and that the load of the van is passed to the structure by four wheels. As the position of the van changes by small increments along the length of the beam, it transfers its loading to the deck. The analysis is done by means of the MARC solver. The data was prepared
