Sergi' 'Dipartimento Elettrico, Elettronico e Sistemistico Universita di Catania, Italy *ST Microelectronics, Catania, Italy Abstract In this paper the authors present a new interactive Graphical User Interface designed and developed for the 3D Finite Element (FE) simulation of electromagnetic devices under the Windows 95/98 OS Differently from other interfaces, dedicated mainly to result restitution, this Graphical User Interface aims at facilitating the management of all the various aspects of a simulation session. These range from input of geometries for the FE mesh generation to FE model processing and output postprocessing.
