Abstract
This paper presents the results of research conducted at the Technical University of Szczecin in the Department of Heat Engineering with the use of a unique test stand enabling the study of heat transfer in high-pressure conditions. A horizontal heat exchanger was used in the experiment. The obtained results were compared with the equations provided by other researchers, for laminar and transient flow in the condition of normobaric pressure. A comparative analysis proved that in the case of high pressures dimensionless equations, which had been correlated for normobaric conditions, cannot be used. Introduction The aim of the research was to determine the dimensionless equations for laminar and transient flow. The measurements were conducted with the pressures
