Abstract
Until now many types of fretting fatigue test specimens have been used, such as the shrink-fitted type, the bridge-pad type, and the flat-pad type. These fretting fatigue test specimens were used according to the loading type of actual components and the types of behaviors observable on the contact surfaces. Recently the bridge-pad type has been used because enough relative slippage can be achieved with bridge-type specimens that are small compared with the full- scale components. But when using these bridge-pad type specimens we can not achieve equivalent stress distrib
