Abstract
The basic definitions of hazard, vulnerability and risk introduce the paper. Then, a comparison between different models for flood hazard assessment is performed, with application on a case study area (San Benedetto Po). Afterwards, vulnerability maps and risk evaluation are carried out for the area and thus risk evaluation.
