Abstract
An area of out 1000 square kilometres within the Murge basin (South Italy) is the focus of groundwater investigation programme whose main purposes are: to provide a plane for decontamination; to optimize the exploitation of the groundwater resources. This paper deals with the preliminary numerical experiments scheduled for the rational formulation of a conceptual model for the sensitivity of the aquifer to some possible artificial perturbations. The theorical analysis is based on BEM technique. 1. Introduction Groundwater pollution has become a worrisome phenomenon, mainly for aquifers underlying industri
