Abstract
This paper outlines examples of current and past assessments of the air quality changes that can be achieved through the implementation of specific traffic management measures. Conclusive studies drawn from the UK and other selected countries show measured and modelled impacts of a range of traffic management measures on air quality and emission changes, with a variety of outcomes and effectiveness.
