Abstract
Air pollutants released from major elevated sources located near and around extensive urban agglomerations can be transported over them under various atmospheric conditions. The city of Athens is near significant industrial installations with major elevated sources. The Northeasterly wind flow is among the most significant air flows occurring in Southeastern Greece. In this work an atmospheric and a Lagrangian Particle dispersion model were used and some simulations characterized by Northeasterly flow have been carried out. It was found that air pollutants, released from major elevated sources located in Central Evia, are transported over Athens, under northe
