Abstract
It has been well known that steel fibers are effective for an impact load because of the increment of the ductility. However, quantitative evaluation of effect of a steel fiber for impact failure of slab has not been adequately clear. Authors achieved relatively slow impact tests of steel fiber reinforced concrete slab by the repeats of a free fall of a weight for three kinds of fiber volume and three kinds of slab thickness, as well as, static loading tests.
