Abstract

This paper describes the analysis of the operational conditions for ship access to the Port of Ferrol (Spain). During the development of this project, wind conditions together with wave climate and wave propagation conditions were defined, current field was also computed by means of numerical models and ship entrance and departure manoeuvres were reproduced both with an autopilot model and in a real- time bridge simulator.
