Abstract
Same physical and climatic conditions result in similar structures when similar functions are considered. Various building types were formed in order to answer the needs of their users with the technology and scientific knowledge of the day. They evolved slowly and are handed down to generations as a tradition. The architecture created traditionally also carries the characteristic of special regions and reveals the identity of that zone and their inhabitants. Types of vernacular architecture change from one country to the other.
