Boz 2^2, gP^O^ y2//e2/r6a^e Cecfez, France ABSTRACT Rehabilitation of sewers is vital, because of the high cost to replace sewers located in urban areas. The rehabilitation technique presented in this paper is a trenchless technology by using a geotextile casing and by creating lateral horizontal support points. A calculation method based on the Finite Element method is developed, and the technical process to realize this rehabilitation is presented, then an evaluation of advantages of this technique is discussed SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES OF WORK An urban main sewer is being tested to evaluate its structural behavior under current operating loads.
