Abstract
The restoration of a historical museum building in Ljubljana J. Kos, P. Sheppard Institute for Testing and Research in Materials and Structures (ZRMK), Ljubljana, Slovenia ABSTRACT The paper describes how in Ljubljana, in 1990-91, a three-storey museum building of historical and architectural importance was restored. By carrying out damp-proofing of the ground-floor walls, and by reconstructing the under-roof area, the space available for exhibitions and exhibit storage was significantly increased. The building's seismic resistance, too, was increased, by applying various structural measures.
