Abstract

Particular attention was focused on material of mortar joints in walls. This is gypsum morLar, whose composition does not differ from present day gypsum mortars, however it holds characteristic structure with symptoms of definite deterioration. Recognized symptoms of joint's material deterioration determine further conservation treatment of stone walls.
