Abstract
In heat exchangers the development of the microbial film in the tubes and the flow zones leads to serious problems that cause important economic loss. The economic cost and environmental impact of the present treatments motivate the current study. To monitor biofouling in heat exchangers-condensers, parameters such as differential pressure, temperature and flow are measured in a continous way.
