Abstract
— The present work reports on the evaluation of the performance of some damage identification methods applied on a small scale hydroelastic model of a fixed offshore platform designed and constructed according to the Similitude Theory. Experimental tests were carried on the model in order to verify the behavior of the structure due to damage and to deck mass changes and in order to evaluate the feasibility of the application of the used methods.
