Abstract

Linear and non-linear modelling of the seismic behaviour of the stone masonry aqueduct of r "Aguas Livres" in Lisbon A. Drei Structural Engineering Department, Politecnico de Milano, Piazza I. &; Kmcz J2, 207 JJ M/ano, Abstract Different structural models arc carried out to represent the seismic behaviour of a typical historical construction made out of stone masonry, specifically to model the seismic behaviour of the aqueduct of Aguas Livres. at the crossing of Alcantara valley at the outskirts of Lisbon. The results obtained from different possible models and from a previous linear elastic beam model, taking also into account an experimental campaign of dynamic measurements, are compared.
