Abstract

Results from experimental estimation of dynamic characteristics of a roadbridge for low level stimulation are presented. The experimental values are compared with analytical results taken from analytical expressions, semiempirical formulas and FE analysis. At the same time, the non linear seismic behavior of the total system is investigated as far as characteristic accelerogrammes are concerned; from where some interesting results for the whole seismic behavior of bridge occur. 1.
