Abstract
In present paper, the numerical prediction of sound radiation and vibration from a submerged elastic ring-stiffened cylindrical double-shell with hemi-spherical caps on ends have been carried out by use of software ANSYS and software SYSNOISE. The frequency response of normal displacement on the outside surface of the structure, the distribution of sound pressure and sound energy flow in near field, the radiated sound power, radiation efficiency of sound power and the directivity of sound field are given when the double-shell structure is immersed in water, excited by a point force source.
