Abstract
Numerical simulation and experimental measurements of RC structures with textile reinforcement W. Graf, A. Hoffmann, B. Moller, F. Steinigen Department of Civil Engineering, Dresden University of Technology Abstract Composite RC constructions with textile strengthening or concrete constructions with textile reinforcement provide a possible means of increasing the load-bearing capacity of existing structures. New textile technologies permit the effective production of textile surface structures with several layers of filament threads made of glass or carbon. A theoretical and technological basis for practical application is currently being developed within the scope of the Centre of science excellence at Dresden University of Technology (SFB 528). This paper is mainly devoted to the improvement of computational algorithms to account for the load-bearing reserves of structures with textile reinforcement. 1 Introduction Reinforced concrete (RC) is the classical composi
