Abstract
The boundary element method for electron waves in the presence of uniform magnetic fields is extended so that it is applicable to scattering problems by many obstacles. The cross sections of obstacles are assumed to be so small that the scattering potential is modeled by summation of 6-functions. This extended method is applied to a magnetic electron focusing geometry with a sequence of scatterers between an emitter and a collector. The results of sample calculations demonstrate the effectiveness of the method. 1 Introduction Since magnetoresistance anomalies were experimentally observed in two dimensional (2D) electron systems with an array of obstacles (an antidot array) fabricated on an interface of the GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructure/^ the transp
