Abstract
In this study a new experimental method for the solution of the stress state of the points on the common boundary plane of three dimensional photoelastic model with materials of varied elastic moduli is proposed. Experimental solution of the stress tensor is obtained by continuous conditions of deformation on interface, relations between stress and strain, stress optics law, and oblique method. 1 Introduction In modern techniques such as hydraulic structures, machine building, air plane and rocket fabricating, different materials with varied elastic moduli are often used together to support the load. It is not only economical, but also safe. For example, in hyd
