Abstract

A one-year tickets sale database from a convenience store (AMIPM), located at Niterdi - Rio de Janeiro State, was used. In this database, the clients are not identified. The Knowledge Discovery in a Database process was carried out, including the pre-processing phase, with noise and absent values treatment. Association Rules were used to define the dependence relations among the concurrencies of items in sales transactions. For each rule, support and confidence measures were assessed.
