Abstract
In this paper an approach to analyse results generated by SMART (a soft- ware tool that generates simulations of a computer system described in QNAP terms) is presented. The outputs obtained by SMART are analysed, and by a simple observation of the results new inputs may be proposed to make new simulations, and in such a case to be analysed again. The approach presented here uses an AND/OR/NOT causal graph which nodes are propositional formulae and it allows the user to guide the search. In fact the causal graph can be translated to a base of rules, but the use of such structure helps us with respect to transparency of the representation, and with respect to search. Dierent kinds of strategies of search can be applied on this cau
