Abstract
In the paper are discussed following problems: 1. Attempts to engine thermal cycle analysis using neural networks. As the learning data base were used results of real engine tests and results of computer simulation of the engine thermal cycle. 2. Identification of internal combustion engine thermal cycle mathematical models - zero-dimensional and threedimensional model of flows with combustion in engine cylinder. 3. Modeling of turbocharger’s characteristics using artificial neural networks. Transactions on Information and Communications Technologies vol 20, © 1998 WIT Press, www.witpress.com, ISSN 1743-3517
