Abstract
Using simulation to model complex engineering systems can provide cost-savings for testing, while being able to stretch boundaries not normally feasible on actual system tests. The authors have been involved in researching and applying a toolset to provide such testing, in terms of behaviour analysis, for SDH Multiplexer telecommunications systems.
