Abstract
The paper describes the implementation of two internationally known CFD program packages: SfflPFLOW and HPUF3A and related programs in the activities of CEHIPAR. User-friendly pre- and post processors have been elaborated, especially for the propeller related programs. Short description of the codes is given with emphasis on their most resource-consuming elements. The complexity of the flows and the resulting mathematical descriptions require high performance computers, but taking into account the needs of the practice, by simplifying the problems and using distributed computational resources of the network , useful results can be obtained in a reasonable time on modern work stations. A few characteristic output drawings are given as illustrative example. Partial validation of the codes reveals satisfactory predictions in the majority
