Abstract

Designers of quartz resonator have to have rich experience except for theory. Using fundamentals of artificial intelligence and object oriented technology, we have developed an expert system for quartz resonator design. In this paper, the backgrounds of research are introduced firstly. Then, We briefly describe the design knowledge of quartz resonator. On the basis of understanding design knowledge of quartz resonator, we give knowledge representation model about quartz resonator, and study the process of problem solving. At last, we introduce the organization and management of system.
