Abstract
This paper reflects on the experiences gained in the teaching of Object Oriented (OO) software technology to students of a degree programme in European Software Engineering. The course includes modules in OO Programming (using C++), OO Analysis and Design and OO Database Management Systems. Our approach to teaching these modules has been heavily influenced by our research interests in the development of CASE tools, the integration of formal methods with object orientation and the development of object oriented frameworks.
