Abstract
The test equipment for serial CNC Machnes such as Machlmng centres is well known and well established. The procedures are described precisely by internationally agreed standards, such as the new IS0 230 and IS0 10791 series. As parallel lunematics are in competition with serial machines and therefore should be comparable in terms of geometric accuracy, an adequate measuring device should be available. UNISQUARE is a new approach to fill this gap. It allows one to measure all 21 errors of a rectangular working area in one setting and to perform the circular test as well. 1 Introduction The test procedure of a CNC machne can be divided into static measurements and dynamic measurements.
