Abstract
Application of elementary balance method to determine the temperature fields in the object during the burnishing rolling op eration with electrocontact heating L Kukielka, P. Dudek, M Przybylski Technical University ofKoszalin, Poland. Abstract The paper presents a discrete mathematical model of heat flow in an object in the course of burnishing rolling operation with the electrocontact heating. The model has been derived with the method of elementary balances. The model lias been compiled for the general case, i.e. for movable, quick-running external and inter- nal sources of heat giving consideration to boundary conditions of I, n, III and IV kind for the temperature and dependence of thermophysical constants upon the temperature. 1 Preface Surface treatment with burnishing and electrocontact heating is one of the method of finishing* consisting in use of local deformation and heat flow occur- ring in the top layer of an object resulting from kinetic and heating action of hard
