Abstract
The object of this work is the numerical study of the influence of cylinders di- ameter d i and a distance between their centers h^i in a vertical tandem on the intensity of heat and mass transfer between an evaporating drop and the gas flowing past the tandem. A novel method for finding the above parameters is introduced and tested in the numerical experiment. As a result the optimum ratios d i Ih i have been determined. The computer realization of the method pro- posed needs less r/w memory, and the time of calculation also decreases in com- parison with the well-known panel method.
