Abstract
The experiments were provided on the model of heat exchanger. The cellular foam flow as heat transfer agent was used in this model. The bank of tubes in such models can be organized in a staggered or in-line way. The heat transfer of staggered tube bank was investigated experimentally. The experiments were done for the middle and the side row of the tube bank consisting of three rows. The obtained results of investigation and the influence of tube position in the row are discussed in the paper. The phenomena of liquid draining in cellular foam flow and influence of it to heat transfer intensity is analyzed also. The experimental results of heat transfer of horizontal tubes in foam flow were generalized by a simple relationship. 1 Introduction The usage of two phase flow as heat transfer agent
