Abstract

The interpretation of non destructive tests on composite materials is complex and not straightforward. To obtain more information from an arbitrary type of measurement an expert system can be used. The combination of knowledge from the practice and theoretical models may result in more accurate information about the microstructure and related properties, for example the strength development of concrete.
