Abstract
LCMFLOT is a simulation software based on the Finite Element Method developed by the Applied Research Center on Polymers (CRASP). In a classical injection gate, the inlet pressure calculated by the numerical prediction is constant. A deviation usually is observed between the experimental and the calculated pressure in the mold. This discrepancy can be due to the assumption of the two-dimensional nature of the resin flow, to the compaction of the reinforcement or to the deformation of the mold plate itself. In the neighbourhood of the injection gate, transverse effects are neglected. In our approach, a dimensionless model taking into account several factors such as the general f
