Abstract
A functional approach to non-local strength conditions and fracture criteria operating with the functional safety factor A or with the functional overload- ing factor A was given in [1, 2]. Identification of these strength functionals on the basis of fracture tests data was considered in [3]. This approach is extended here to multiaxial loading, and non-local strength conditions more general than in [4] are presented. The identification (interpolation) is done particularly along the strength surface for a body under uniform stress state and along the strength surface for the critical strength intensity factors for a body with large crack under mixed-mode loading, known for the material considered, as well as along fracture tests data with other stress concen- trators. Applications to a strength description of particular materials are given. Especially,
