Abstract
The results of research of preliminary plastic deformation influence on cyclic crack resistance characteristics of titanium alloy of BT5-1 type are cited in the work It is shown (Ref. Boguslayev [1]), that at the stage of crack nucleation this alloy is very sensitive to preliminary plastic deformation: in a narrow range of small plastic deformations an insignificant change of degree of deformation (e) leads to a sharp change of endurance limit. In this connection it was important to determine whether the preliminary plastic deformations affect as well so essentially the sta%e ot growth of an already nucleate
