Abstract
Parallel implementation of the coupled boundary element method (BEM) and finite volume method (FVM) for a two-dimensional flow over an aerofoil on a multicomputer system, the nCUBE is discussed. The flow region around the aerofoil is subdivided into two subregions, of which the inner is governed by the multiblock Euler equations and the outer is computed using the multi- partition BEM The parallel implementation is performed by domain decomposition inherent in the multiblock and multi-partition methods. A Single Program Multiple Data (SPMD) model is used to distribute the problem. An iterative solution process based on Jameson's finite volume sc
