Abstract
The ultrasound as a agitation method during electroless plating nickel affects the structure and properties of the deposits. In this work, a complete study of the action of the ultrasound on the plating rate, micro-hardness, phosphorous content and corrosion properties of electroless plated deposits was carried out. It was found that in the presence of the ultrasound, the plating rate and micro-hardness of as-deposited were increased about 30 and 10 percent respectively, whilst the phosphorous content was decreased from 10.49 to 8.39 at%. The change of parameter mentioned above, in turn, affects the corrosion behaviour of the electrol
