Abstract
Statistical methods to classify products as acceptable or not have been developed to insure an outgoing quality level under non-destructive testing. Control procedures are based on the computation of a critical measurement value such that an item is accepted if and only if the measurement of some characteristic is less than this critical value. When this characteristic of items can only be measured with a significant random error, one must take into account the measurement uncertainty. This paper introduces a Mathematica package, SQControl.m, to com- pute the quality control procedures under some assumptions on the manu- facturing and measuring processes. Both the functionality and implemen- tation of the package are discussed. 1 Statistica
