Abstract
In this paper, we show how AWAerrmZzm capabilities can be successfully applied in order to obtain the numerical solution of some integral equa- tions. To this aim, we introduce two new Ma^Aema^ca packages for solving problems arising from the engineering field, by using the Boundary Ele- ments Method (BEM). The performance of this technique is illustrated by means of some examples, for both the cases of constant and linear elements. 1 Introduction Traditionally, boundary integral equations were almost exclusively domain of mathematicians and physicists, and they were infrequently applied to realistic engineering problems. However, since the middle of 70's, with the appearance of the Boundary Elements Method (B.E.M.) this situation has suffered a substantial modification. Nowadays, B.E.M. has found important practical applications in a remarkab
