Abstract
The new low carbon-equivalent TMCP type HT50 steel plate for ship or welded structures has been developed several years ago in Japan. We con- ducted on some kind of experiments for this steel and for its welded joints regarding fatigue strength and fatigue crack propagation in air and in sea water.
