Abstract
A three dimensional numerical model is applied to simulate the dispersion of a passive pollutant emitted from the stack of a power plant. The dispersion of the stack plume is influenced by buildings on the site and by the buoyant plume of a cooling tower. The magnitude of these influences is determined by the height of the buildings and the local speed and direction of the wind. Three different states of operation were examined. The calculated results are compared to results obtained from a wind tunnel experiment. The com- pa
