Abstract
The three-box model with cyclic exchange between reservoirs is applied to calculate cosmogenic tritium variations in the Northern hemisphere. The solution of the conservation equations with periodic coefficients found by using perturbation techniques is compared with the numerical solution of the problem. Dependance on geophysical parameters is considered. 1 Introduction Tritium is one of the most commonly used isotopic tracers applied to follow water movement in nature.
