Abstract

The software package of the 3DS Dispersion Model (3DS model) was developed by the authors which similates the propagation of a pollutant in water. The specific objectives, the basic operation of 3DS model and the program's characteristics are summarized. The overall computer graphics package, the principal equations of the model and the algorithm of the software package are presented. The results obtained on the concentration profile of pollutants discharges in a receptor flow, confirm a very good performance of the simulation program at low cost.
