Abstract

The VISIMAR-F system is presented here: it is designed to facilitate the preparation of video-animations on the basis of results obtained from numerical simulation of dynamic physical processes. The first objective for the scientist is to analyse the evolution of these processes with time; for decision-makers video- animation is also a powerful communication tool which allows projects and study conclusions to be presented in an attractive and convincing form. Films constructed with this system make use of visual and sound-based multi-media materials.
