Abstract
During several years, energy use, thermal comfort and indoor air quality have been monitored in existing buildings in Belgium. The main goals were to benchmark the energy use for all monitored buildings, to map relevant building and installation characteristics, to desegregate measured energy use into end-uses (i.e., obtaining accurate energy balances) and to find correlation between the recorded energy use and building characteristics or measured comfort. In all buildings, the power and fuel consumption was recorded on a monthly basis during at least one year. Correlation between energy use, building parameters and comfort were inv
